Tomb Raider Review

Genre
The genre for this video game is action/adventure, it was published by Crystal Dynamics and it was then developed by Eidos.

Story
In a race against time, Lara must travel across the globe to unearth history's greatest weapon. A legendary artifact of such immense power it could threaten humanities very existence. She finds herself having to complete missions throughout this game with mini occurrences along the way.
Gameplay and Controls
In this game Lara travels around places on a mission to kill animals, people and monsters that occur during her journey. She uses a variety of guns and uses her strength to help her overcome all her missions. A lot of environments are used and a variety of puzzles are created to keep the audience entertained.

Hints are given throughout the game, which are helpful for when you find yourself in tricky situations. They are there to explain the buttons of the controller and tell you what you need to do in order to get past the situations.

Graphics
Baring in mind the time that this game was released, the graphics of the game are fairly good. The picture can sometimes appear a bit blurry within some of the movements but the overall l this doesn't affect the quality of the game too much. The movements for the animated characters was good and there was a good variety of different movements and skills to try. Sometimes the movements seemed a little slow and delayed, however we put this down to, again, the time period in which this game was produced.
